Research Associate Position Marketing Course in the School of Biomedical Sciences

The Marketing Course laboratory uses Eggert chemical biology approaches to the cytokinesis process, to study routes and protein level. These two and a half years after the study the role of Rho signaling and cell division and related processes focus. The Rho way is responsible for regulating many important cellular events including cytokinesis. We recently identified a high-throughput screening of small molecules and small molecules, the Rho-signaling (Castoreno et al. Nature Chemical Biology, 2010) target. We conducted a genome-wide RNAi to identify partners of the Rho path. The Marketing Course goal of the postdoctoral work on this project is to evaluate the mechanism of small molecules and / or RNAi to understand shots. Techniques include cell biology and imaging, biochemistry and failure of small molecules.
